The Importance Of Advanced Technology In Dental Implant Surgery

Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is an advanced technology used in dental implant surgery, with important benefits to patients.

Key takeaways:

• Cone beam technology creates high-quality three-dimensional images of your jaw, teeth and neck that allow dentists to place the implant precisely.

• Cone beam technology greatly reduces the risk for infection due to the precise placement of the implant.

• This procedure is also more affordable and carries lower radiation exposure than other CT assessments.
