Your dentist can tell if you smoke or use tobacco and can discuss why it’s important to quit smoking — as well as provide advice on quitting.
– Tobacco use is connected with gum disease, tooth loss, stained teeth and oral cancers.
– A dentist may be the first person to spot any oral health issues connected with tobacco use.
– Some dentists can help and support you to quit smoking.
Tobacco use affects your health and your smile, so regular check-ups are essential.
